Bård Norberg, Founder

Captain Bård Norberg is a master mariner with additional advanced education in liquefied gas transportation and chemical transportation. Since going ashore, Captain Norberg spent over 20 years at I.M. Skaugen holding various senior management positions involved in fleet operation, business development and newbuildings of various gas and chemical carriers. In recent years, Mr Norberg has been heavily involved in the development of liquefied gas technologies and initiated the development of the LNT A-BOX Containment system. Mr Norberg also holds worldwide patents on cryogenic recovery processes.

Andreas Norberg, CEO

Andreas is a naval architect from the Norwegian University of Science and Technology and is  Technology Development Manager in LNT Marine and part time engineerin in CGR Marine. Prior to his position in LNT he has worked with shipbuilding of various gas carriers as well as gas fueled ferries at ship yards in Europe and Asia. Andreas has also gained experience in operation of marine gas cargo handling systems and gas recovery systems, as well as development of new BOG handling systems. Besides his positions in LNT, Andreas is one of the co-founders of Connect LNG, and is actively involved in the company as board member and technology developer of a new innovative loading discharge system, Universal Transfer System.

Einar Brendeng, Senior Advisor

Einar Brendeng is a professor emeritus at the Norwegian University of Science and Technology. Professor Brendeng is renowned for his research within technology for cooling of natural gas to its liquid form. For his research wihin this field, Professor Brendeng has been granted the title of Knight 1st Order in the Order of St. Olav by the Norwegian King.

David Wu, Chairman

David Wu was educated as a medical doctor and holds an MBA from Rutgers University, New Jersey, USA. Mr Wu has over 20 years of experience in the shipping and offshore Oil & Gas sector. During this time he has established close relationships with international owners and operators, in addition to Chinese shipyards and financial institutions. Prior to his current position, Mr. Wu was the Country Manager for I.M. Skaugen, China Holdings, and President for Agility Group Asia.

Daniel Wu, Project Manager

Daniel Wu holds a MSc in Marine Technology from the Norwegian University of Science and Technology. In his master's thesis, Daniel researched the effects of mass flow meters on the bunkering industry in Singapore. While studying, Daniel has held internships at several firms within the maritime and energy industry, such as Rystad Energy, DNV GL and Western Bulk.

Helge Jan Johansen,

Senior Advisor

Helge Jan Johansen is chief engineer with extensive experience and competence within gas handling and gas storage methods and processes. In addition of being an advisor and operator of the CGR technology  Mr. Johansen have worked at SINTEF in the energy research division, where he have been involved in development of Mini LNG liquefaction technology, various processes technologies including the CGR technology, for gas treatment as well as LNG storage technologies. Mr. Johansen have also been in involved in LNG terminal constructions at various locations along the coast of Norway.

Kjell Tellefsen,

Senior Advisor

Kjell Tellefsen is an electrician with extensive experience within control and automation.   Mr. Tellefsen has throughout his 50 years carrier been involved in various startups involved in design and construction of automation and control systems for the maritime industry, as well as recreation vessels and yachts. Mr. Tellefsen has been a key advisor for CGR Arctic Marine since 2000, and has also been involved in the construction of various gas carriers including LNG vessels. Mr. Tellefsen has also been involved in the construction and installation of Mini LNG re-liquefaction plants for IM Skaugen.
